Corify Care technology was presented in August and September of this year at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) annual congress and the Computing in Cardiology (CinC) international congress.
At ESC, Corify’s technology was presented by Dr. Lluis Mont, Head of the Arrhythmia Unit at Hospital Clínic (Barcelona). During the congress, Corify’s product specialist, Jana Reventós, had the opportunity to present a study on the characterization of atrial flutters by ECGi. The study carried out by the Corify technology operator at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona was nominated among the six finalists for the best basic research study.
Later, in September, the Corify Care team traveled to Tampere (Finland) to attend the CinC conference. It was at this congress that our product specialist Jana Reventós presented her validation work on Corify’s ECGi tool to characterize atrial tachycardias. This study concludes that these arrhythmias can be characterized noninvasively before the cardiac ablation procedure, without the need for a prior CT scan. The objective of this study is to be able to guide these intracavitary procedures, previously and non-invasively detecting the ablation targets.
Finally, before the end of the congress, the “Consortium for Electrocardiographic Imaging Satellite meeting” event, taking place just after CinC, Dr. Till F Althoff, electrophysiologist at Hospital Clínic (Barcelona), presented clinical cases in which Corify’s ECGi technology was key in the non-invasive characterization of arrhythmias.
