Corify Care Successfully Concludes DIDIMO Project: Advancing Personalized Cardiac Digital Twin Technology

Last September, Corify Care successfully concluded the DIDIMO Project (Personalized Cardiac Digital Twin to Improve the Development of Medical Devices and Cardiac Anti-arrhythmic Treatments), marking a significant step forward in the field of precision medicine.

The objective of DIDIMO was to develop a personalized cardiac digital twin tool that integrates patient-specific electrical and structural data into a sophisticated mathematical model. This innovation aims to:
🔹 Personalize cardiac treatments by evaluating multiple therapeutic strategies in silico, enabling the selection of the optimal approach for each patient.
🔹 Accelerate the development of medical devices and pharmacological treatments by providing industry partners with advanced technology to optimize clinical trials, ensuring safer and more effective solutions.

The concept of digital twins in healthcare is revolutionizing the future of precision medicine, leveraging:
âś… Extensive patient data to tailor treatments based on individual physiological characteristics.
âś… Cutting-edge computational power and algorithms to create highly accurate, patient-specific models that enhance clinical decision-making.

The DIDIMO consortium was formed by Adas3D Medical, SL and Corify Care, in collaboration with ITACA and CMT research groups from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), and Hospital Clínic de Barcelona through the IDIBAPS Institute.

This project was supported by Grant PLEC2021-007614, funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and, where applicable, by “ERDF A way of making Europe” and “European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR”.

Although the project has officially concluded, the outcomes of DIDIMO pave the way for further advancements in personalized cardiac care and medical innovation.
