Corify technology supports new AF stratification model published in JCE
The Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology has just published results from the STRATIFY trial, a research initiative focused on improving the selection of treatment strategies in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF).
In this study, led by Ana María Sánchez de la Nava, Santiago Ros, Alejandro Carta, Andreu M. Climent, María S. Guillem, Felipe Atienza, and others from the STRATIFY Study Group, the team evaluated more than 200 AF patients using a combination of noninvasive ECGI biomarkers and clinical parameters.
The study used Corify’s imageless ECGI system to assess the electrophysiological complexity of AF. An artificial intelligence-based clustering model was then applied to define five patient profiles with distinct treatment outcomes. The results showed that this data-driven approach outperformed conventional methods in predicting 1-year freedom from AF.
🧠 Key takeaway: Combining noninvasive electrical data with clinical variables allows for a more tailored, patient-specific approach to AF management — improving outcomes and helping clinicians select the most appropriate rhythm or rate control strategy.
