At Corify we believe that collaboration and networking are key to driving progress, so as a company committed to innovation and shaping the #future, we have supported the Congress Computing in Cardiology 2024. It took place in Karlsruhe (Germany) last week, from the 8th to 11st September bringing together scientists and professionals from medicine, physics, engineering and computer science to discuss their current research in topics pertaining to computing in clinical cardiology and cardiovascular physiology. Together with ITACA COR research group , we had the opportunity to present several exciting innovations in cardiac technology at the conference.
Dr Jorge Sánchez won the ‘CinC Maastricht Simulation Award’, which recognises the innovative research to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
Dr Rubén Molero Alabau and Jorge Vicente Puig presented advancements in the real-time evaluation of cardiac therapies and innovative frameworks for improving the detection of ectopic beats using Imageless ECGI and new insights into improving the accuracy of non-invasive methods for mapping electrical activity by using ImagelessECGI, respectively.
Andrea Cano and Clara Herrero, semifinalists in the prestigious Young Investigator Awards (YIA), explained in detail their cutting-edge work on non-invasive cardiac analysis using AI and ECGI, respectively.
Lastly, Corify participated in a roundtable discussion on the crucial role of PhDs in transitioning from academia to industry, contributing to shaping the future of careers in this field.
